just reposting. i wrote it under a different topic..hehehe..
hi, i’m joy camarista, a mom of a 2nd grader and a 4yr old. GCI was first introduced to me by Jason Gonzales 2 or 3 years ago but due to the location, i did not give it much thought. the other day, i met a steiner mom who told me very appealing stories about the kind of education and environment GCI has, thus the intention of attending this weekend’s orientation.
here it is:
the reason why i’m writing is i want to inform you of my questions/concerns in advance just to be sure that all of it will be addressed, and some moms might also be interested in the data you will be providing
1. will there be religion-based lessons or activities? we are christians and i hope there will be no activities that might exclude my children.
2. how about security? since the school is located in a remote area, do you have security guards? do you “filter” people coming in and out of the campus? are the children allowed to go out of school without guardians?
3. i was informed that there’s a school bus available? how much is it? what’s the schedule? i was also informed that it picks up the children at jaro cathedral. since we live at tabuc suba, will it be possible for my child to just catch the bus outside our village?
4. my child’s first tongue is english and speaks and understands little hiligaynon. will this be a problem?
thank you very much for accommodating my queries, i’m soooooo looking forward to attending the orientation this weekend.
cheers
